I’m watching the saussage race at Miller Park, and you have to wonder if these things are fixed.
I mean do they plan who is going to run faster than the others before they take off? Hot Dog won today for those keeping track at home.
It’s a reporters job to question everything, even intentions into something seemingly harmless. I mean the saussage races in Milwaukee isn’t a life or death thing. Neither is the outcome of a professional football game.
Sideline video work from the New England Patriots cost the team a first-round pick in the draft that begins Saturday. Did the video have an impact on the outcome of a game? Probably not.
Is the NFL rigged? Probably not either. But cheating degrades the game, it damages the credibility. And the draft is different this year because of it.
I can handle the saussage races being fixed, cheating is a-ok with me there.
But in the NFL? Not so much.
